  We visited as a group of four in occasion of my husband's birthday. Our experience was, unexpected from a restaurant with Liberatore's renommé. Our visit started with being rejected outdoor seating. In spite of nice weather and no rain expected till next morning, the greeting table were inclined to place us in the darkest corner of the old re-built wardrobe. We had to argue a seating outside the "wardrobe". To be seated in the middle of a trafficked "road". Our server did his best, but was unfortunately not very knowledgeable, about neither drinks or food. I had decided on the Seafood Risotto several days ahead. When I finally received the dish, well after the others were served, it was a soup of seafood stock and mushy cheesy rice with too many closed clams. Inedible and had to be returned. Next try; lamb chops!
  All three were on the raw side (lamb should never be raw), one were decidedly old, for those who know the taste of old lamb. Our event ended with the restaurant "forcing" us to wait for birthday cake for the jubilant, which also was extremely and artificially sweet. Tables are set too tight. Main clientele of very old age, made my in-laws in this sixties look young. We will not chose this restaurant for any celebration in the future.

  Amazing Italian food. Reminded me of the food my aunt served me when I was a child. Not haute cuisine but just what you'd want in classic Italian cooking.
